There aren’t very many people as talented as Steve Martin (at least when it comes to creativity and entertainment). I’ve listened to his music, watched movies he has acted in and written, and even read a novel of his (granted it was 20+ years ago and I only remember the name of the book was Drivel) My standard line if someone asks me if I’ve seen a movie is something like “Is Steve Martin in it?” .He seem to be a genuinely nice person with creating the Award for Banjo Excellence. I’ve even heard that he purchased a Lloyd Loar mandolin and loaned it to the Steep Canyon Rangers mandolin player to use as long as he wants to keep it.
