SS or nickel strings

Anyone tried nickel plated strings? Wondered if there was any difference in tone or feel.

I have no answer but am interested to hear what develops…

Well I’ve heard it said that nickel strings cause less wear on the frets, but I couldn’t say whether that is true or not as I have not tried any. So just wondered if anyone here had.

Nickel typically has a bit deeper tone than the brighter stainless steel strings, but may not last as long before going dead.
