Is Soldier’s Joy ever played in standard G tuning 5th string capo’ed up 2. ?
Been searching for solo in D without a capo but all I can find is TABs in Drop C capo’ed up 2, or Clawhammer

Probably not, but you can always be the first. Ben’s lesson for it is in drop D. He plays Cuckoo’s nest in G with capo 2 on the 5th, so you could check that lesson to get some ideas and licks, and then figure it out from there
