A guy showed me this about a week ago, and I still can’t get over it! This is an amazing cover of the song! Hope y’all enjoy it as much as I have!!!

No wonder they are! You know why? The one on the Guitar is Cody who was Banjo Ben’s guest at the cabin!

Andy has the best bluegrass arrangement of this tune, no contest in my opinion. The key change and the octaves at the end… ridiculous!

IKR?! The quality of the playing is amazing. I know a guy who met and got to play with Andy Leftwich once. Although I would honestly love the chance to play with any of those guys (especially Jim Britton), I would feel so outclassed! But I could learn a lot from them!

Oh, that is definitely my favorite part!!! I plan to send this to my brother, who plays classical violin, and say, “This is how it’s done!”

@cboling Have you listened to Travis Alltop’s music? It’s tasteful bluegrass gospel featuring Andy, Jim and Darren Vincent among others. You would really like it.

I’ve heard a few of their songs, and I’ve liked what I heard. I just have to make the time to look up some more!
I have seen this video, though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqnUn3Dh_Ek&pp=ygUcc2VuZCB0aGUgbGlnaHQgdHJhdmlzIGFsbHRvcA%3D%3D I love the energy in this! And, Jim’s humor is great!

I really enjoy Andy Leftwich Christmas concerts. If you ever have a chance to go to one or watch one live, jump on it!

Amazing, for sure. Andy is just so tasteful in everything he plays.

So, I sent it to him, asked his opinion, and he said, “It was kind of weird… He didn’t hit some of the notes right. It was almost like he kind of slid into the note. It’s understandable, because there’s no point of reference for finger placement for notes on the violin, but this guy seems to be a pro, so I’m not sure why he did that.”:rofl::rofl::rofl:
