Yes. Large items too. I purchased a “Twanger” a few years back.

You’ll still have to pay VAT. UK tax man want’s his slice of the cake
VAT is also charged on shipping costs - Inland Revenue will squeeze every penny they can.
You may also incur “Handling Charges” in the UK at Customs.
