Seeking Prayers

Hi Guy’s I have just learned that my Great Niece Hayley and her young family in Western Australia had a house fire and it would seem they have lost everything. I ask that hold them in your thoughts and prayers this Christmas. Fortunately I have family out there who will rally round and support them in their hour of need.

A little of the back story can be found here.

If you would like to make a small donation to help them recover you may do so via the link below.

Praying God meets their needs and that their Christmas is joyful despite the fire. Praise God they’re all alive!

Oh dear! Years ago I stopped wishing people a Merry Christmas after our pastor rightly pointed out, “Not everyone can have a merry Christmas. But we can all have a blessed Christmas.”
Despite this calamity, I pray the family has a blessed Christmas. In spite of everything, I suspect they will.

Just heartbreaking, especially this time of year. If you talk to her, pass on our love.

Thank you Ben and a special thanks for your support. Hayley and the family are currently in crisis accommodation. I didn’t realise at the time of posting that they lived so far away from the rest of the family who mostly live north of Perth WA.

Here are the recent updates posted by her brother Aden

We are so incredibly grateful for the sudden burst in donations over night. All funds have been transferred to Hayley and her family to provide more accomodation and meals.

We have an update from Hayley and Lee.
“It’s been so lucky we have had the funds from it to be able to get accommodation so far. We would’ve been left with no where to go without it. I can’t thankyou guys and everyone who donated enough for your support”

We really appreciate everyone’s help and support during this difficult time!

We are so grateful for the generosity, we know everyone’s pockets are tight just before Christmas and so we really truely appreciate all the help. We are so close to 25% of our goal in just over 1 week!

The 3 boys now have a suitcase each with clothes, toiletries and some toys. Hayley and Lee have a suitcase with clothes and toiletries too.

All funds have been transferred to Hayley to assist them with food, accomodation and other necessities.

We thank everyone again for helping our family during such a difficult time just before Christmas. We are beyond grateful.

Hayley, Lee and the kids are currently in a hotel thanks to Crisis Care. With the funds received we have been able to buy the 3 children clothes and a couple toys to entertain them in the hotel.
Thank you for everyone’s generosity
