It’s been a long, long time, but my wife & I are off on a one-day road trip tomorrow, and the only thing that could be better is the weather.
We will take a three-hour drive on twisting, winding roads through the Adirondack mountains in my brother’s 6-speed 2016 MIata, on our way to Saratoga Springs, where we will see the Kruger Brothers in an outdoor venue, rain or shine, at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, presented by Caffe Lena.
The forecast is an 80% chance of rain.
So maybe it won’t be a perfect day, but it will be one fine day for two old people.
We feel like escapees!

It was a great drive! It’s my brother’s 2016 Miata. He lets me have it for a couple weeks each summer. (It’s a long story.)
Driving thru the Adirondacks is a hit-or-miss situation. Some days the road is winding, dry & empty. Other days it’s raining and covered with RV’s.
