Program for transcribing notation and tabs

What is the best program for transcribing notation and tabs to sheet music?
Or what do you use for transcribing to sheet music?

Hey Randy! Welcome to the board!

I can’t read sheet music, but I know TablEdit can do that. Probably the best tabbing software out there, especially for banjo.

Hi Randy welcome to @BanjoBen 's Forum. I concur with @Mark_Rocka

Check out this thread that I wrote a while back it should answer most of the questions you may have.

I think TablEdit is most used for bluegrass, although Avid Sibelius also has tablature functionality. That’s what I have used.

Hi Luke, I have come across printed TABs created with this software, Bill Evans and Acutab used it in their publications. I have to say that I wasn’t a great fan of these TABs simply due to the layout and how small the characters are. Is it possible to export files created in Avid Sibelius to Guitar Pro or TablEdit format ?
