Hello,
I’m trying to update my picture for the little icon to the left of my name so it isn’t blank. I went into my account, clicked preferences then profile. I put the same picture in profile background and User Card Background, but it still is blank, except for the picture at the top of my account. Any suggestions?

Hey Zachary, the Profile Background and User Card Background settings only apply to the background image on your profile. To change the profile image that actually appears beside your name, you actually need to use the “My Account” settings link in the upper right:
