Shameless plug.
When I bought this place they had just opened up a new lower loop (840) below Nashville. I sold a biz at age 40 that I started from my garage at age 29. I “checked out”. Yep, no more suits and ties, no more dealing with all the employees, customers, etc. I had an offer and I took it.
We iived in the “we don’t drink our beer Muffy we sip it” town of Brentwood (S of Nash). I was not buying my kid(s) a $50K BMW for their 16th bday. like the rest…so it was “back to the country” for our family of five.
We transformed a kind of neglected property that sat empty for two years into a paradise. I worked my can off around here for the past 6 years or so. Oh I work full time here. Now it’s time for the payoff.
@BanjoBen here is my place that I was talking about. It went up on Zillow. Maybe you could get Billy Strings to look at it because I don’t know his user name. Same goes for Shania! ha ha.
60K people moved between me and town in six years - now my area is the “wealthy country estate” area 2 miles out beyond the $700K/home “burgs”…and man are those folks with money running from the big cities due to the virus and riots. I will gladly step aside and let someone write me a check for the past 7 years of work.
You will be hard pressed to find a home with features and land like this in the entire Nash region. It’s a nice country home - If developers get it they will probably tear it down and put up $25 million homes. No joke, at the “country club” down the road 4 miles (into the country) they are selling 1/4 acre lots for $1.2 mil. Absolutely crazy. I’m probably getting out too early…but it sure is getting crowded again. It’s time to go.
