I did just that recently (I do that before but not enough floating movement) and there is huge improvement in terms of accuracy and speed. I never thought I’d be able to play 180+. I’m sure pretty soon you will be playing at 220-260 range (in guitar) or even above effortlessly if you aren’t there already!
