Hi @Baw510 Bernard welcome to @BanjoBen 's Forum. I didn’t take up the banjo till I was 61 I am now 78 and still enjoy learning. I am a Gold Pick Life Member and I would say it is the best investment I ever made. If you are serious about purchasing a Gold Pick membership I would like to suggest you hold off for a few weeks. Ben holds Black Friday Sales in the month of November and he sometimes has discount’s on memberships as well as pretty much everything at his General Store.

As far as learning the Banjo I always tell newcomers to the website to work through the Beginners Learning Path at your own pace. Each Lesson builds on the next and it wont take you too long before you start making good progress.

If you have any question just holler and we will do our best to help. Ben will respond when he is able.

Good luck

Welcome @Baw510. I find the tef files helpful for learning. Many times I’ve had problems learning a lick. The tef player allows you to speed up or slow down a song and loop a section. Best of luck.

Howdy @Baw510!

I have my annual Gold Pick special happening on Cyber Monday if you’d like to take advantage of that. It’s my best pricing of the year. Go to BanjoBenDeals.com to learn more, would be honored to have you on board!

Hi @Baw510, I believe @BanjoBen as a good option to consider. I can say in my experience, the life time purchase is the best option. Most all other music teaching sites only offer paying every year. So if you’re in it for the long haul like @Archie then pick the pricing that suits you and get moving on your journey.
