My progress on the heart surgery

**strong text I think I am doing well, wanting to play more but the fingers are not working to well . I sold my banjo and it had to go for car repairs because I am still paying on the surgery and about 8 ER visits ** I got my price and am pleased I sold it . I still have 5 guitars so I have plenty to pick on. I thank the good Lord I had the cash to pay for the car repair. , I look forward to playing today. I have to relearn some of what I learned but the real good ones I can still play fairly well.

I am over the side effects most of it has gone ., I really prayed to just die and go on it was so miserable. but I held on and fought to get past it. I have an appointment with a electrical signal specialists that may be able to fix my problem about the heart racing away with me . They may be able to sear or burn the area that is sending the bad signal so I need prayers for that to work well . I am not giving up I will try till there is nothing left to do .

Ken, sending up many prayers for you brother. What He suffered for us is beyond comparison - may our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ grant you healing and the strength, courage and grace to endure these trials. You will remain in our prayers.

“Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men.” Psalm 107:19-20

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another that you may be healed. The fervent prayer of a righteous man is effective and has great strength.” James 5:16

Keeping you in prayer.

Hey Ken, sorry I missed this before. Any updates? I have a neighbor who had AFib and had a similar sounding “heart burn” procedure done and it worked well for him. We are keeping you in our prayers!

Thanks Mike that means a lot to me that someone had it done and it worked . As far as missing the post that is fine you nor anyone else can not be expected to be here and catch all of it . I appreciate everyone and look forward to be a bit normal again . I have been working on “you are my sunshine” with the cross picking and it seems to come natural to me . I like the cross picking style. Still having side effects but it is not as bad hope that goes away .

“You are my sunshine” is a great one. It’s kind of like Wildwood Flower in that I always like it, and it always brings a smile. I forgot he posted that one. I need to go work on Ben’s arrangement.

I have seen the electrophysiologist and I am at the end of the road there is nothing they can do for me exept tweak my meds which they did.
I am just going to enjoy life the best I can and also listen to a lot of music . Life has been good to me and the only regret I have is smoking . I have people who love me and also great friends on the forum. Cross picking I have no problem doing foward rolls it is the reverse rolls I have a problem but I will over come that also. keep on the sunny side !!!

Praying for you, Ken. Never give up. Listen to something nice today, maybe Doc Watson?

Thanks for the update Ken. I hope that the medication tweak brings some relief to you. I love your attitude, it’s a great inspiration. Keep on picking, listening and pursuing what you want. You have been and will stay in my prayers.

Thanks for the update, but sorry to hear about the outcome. I admire your attitude about it. That, in itself, is a healthy way to look at it.

Praying for you, brother.
