I don’t think there’s any requirements… usually they put a post on the forum a few days before it happens, and then a couple hours before it starts they post a zoom link.

Yes, all you need is the video call application (which will be either Zoom or Google Meet), and a device with a camera (or without—you can be on the call without your camera on of course).
