Mandolin Worth

How can you figure the worth of your mandolin? Mine was given to me so I don’t know anything about it.
It’s model is Indiana B-M1, but honestly, I don’t know what that stands for.

Hi Richard! It looks like that mandolin is worth $65-85.

But it also looks like it’s hard to find, so if you wanted to sell it, you might be able to get more.

A quick Google search shows that model to be firmly in the beginner mandolin category. Brand new they sell for around $80, so I’d expect them to go for around half that used.

Well, I guess it plays pretty well for its worth. I think I’m a little past beginner though. Guess I’ll start saving up for a better one.

Ben’s having some great sales on Eastman mandos right now. Probably won’t find better deals on new gear for a while.

Yeah, saw those, they do seem like really good deals. Don’t think I’ll have the money for awhile though. Maybe next year.
