@Flatpickin_Libby, I work in Pooler but now live in Bluffton. I have never been to one of those jam sessions. I’m not usually able to get over there by mid-day Saturdays due to other commitments, but I sure would like to give it a try! Truthfully, I’m also a little intimidated by it…haven’t actually been part of but two jam sessions ever. 
I did go see Gina Furtado at Randy Wood’s Pickin’ Parlor last year, though. See this link: Spoke briefly to Gina Furtado the other month

@xmark - so neat to bump into somebody here who lives close by! We go into Randy Wood’s all the time (or used to, that is)! The jam is not at all intimidating - very small and inviting! We’ve gone to some great shows in Randy’s Pickin’ Parlor, just about 10 minutes from our house. Hope to meet you sometime!

I’m not familiar with alot of the GPOTW folks - and while I’m happy for all of them, it was VERY cool to see your name pop up because I’ve kind of “met” you on the forum, and I’ve watched and enjoyed your videos & posts! It was great to read about your musical family history! Keep up the great picking
