I haven’t watched the video yet but I sliced the tip of my middle finger off my right hand a few months ago. I couldn’t put a pick on for a few months and I still can’t hold a pencil or bump it without it hurting. Thankfully it wasn’t the left hand or I probably never could push a string with it again.

I’ve gotten to know Kristin over the last couple years and she’s the sweetest, even came to my house and played a concert. She is such an amazing picker! In other news, I’m planning some collaboration stuff with Appalachian Road Show, so hopefully will have Barry in the Cabin before too long!

That really comes across in this episode. Not only sweet, but very precise in the way she describes things, and very gentle when she has a criticism. As she says near the end, “I can’t help it. It’s the teacher in me coming out!”
