What was it that first got you interested in playing the guitar, mandolin or banjo?
Beverly Hillbillies as a kid. Then Hee Haw and of course Dueling Banjo’s.
How long have you been playing and what’s your motivation to play?
I’ve owned stringed instruments for years but never learned more than a handful of chords.I want to get better.
What’s your favorite lesson on Ben’s site and how has it helped you improve?
Right now Wreck of the O’l 97 on Mando. It has helped with tab, the videos and different speed backing tracks.
What’s your goal when playing?
I have no designs of being in a band but I would like to hold my own when playing with others.
Are there any other instruments or genres of music that you enjoy playing?
I was a classic rock drummer for many years.

I finally got a good banjo , A Huber Workhorse and last year I bought an Eastman Mando from Ben

I’m honestly not sure as my skills have not outrun my current instruments.
