I saw a couple of other people do this, so I thought I would to! I just joined, and already am loving this website! My instrument of choice is the good 'ol banjer, but I also love dobro (hoping they are added as lessons soon!). I’ve only been playing for a short time, but I loved Ben’s free lessons, as well as the previews to his others, so I decided to go all in! I’ve been liking and posting a lot recently, but I’ll probably settle down after a little while!

Agreed. I believe others have said this, but I’ll credit Allen Munde “we just wanted to teach you G, C, and D, we didn’t mean to change your life.” That’s been my experience here on The Forum. I just wanted to learn how to play the banjo, I wasn’t expecting all this extra sweetness.

I’m sure you know this, but we do have two Rules here.
Rule #1: Have fun.
Rule #2: Repeat Rule #1
Which is why it is suggested, not mandatory, you play “Unclouded Day.”

I’m right there with you. I joined about a month and a half ago and have learned so much in just that short period of time. Been wanting to become proficient with a guitar now for years and I’m finally feeling like I’ve found the right “voice” that’s making me a better player.

Great to hear you guy’s are loving this website and more importantly learning whist having fun. It’s also great that you are sharing your experience with @BanjoBen and the Gold Pick Membership. But I have a favour to ask. Can you please share your experience with your friends and your community. The more people who know how great this site is the more people will want to come and join. That not only helps Ben feed his family it also secures new content being added to the 100’s of lessons already here which benefits ALL of us.
