Jerusalem Ridge song structure

Hey Ya’ll! I’m learning Jerusalem Ridge ( Noam pickenly Style)

And I’m trying to figure out how the structure of the song goes. Because it’s got an a part B. C and D part so I’m trying figure out do they all repeat twice? Because I’m really confused!! LOL This is the probably the hardest song I’ve ever tried to tackle (and what makes it harder its Noam Pickenly style) :joy:

Blessings,
Kaden Albritton.

here’s the link to the song I’m learning!

Hi @Chicken_wing Chris I am studying Sean Ray’s arrangement which also has four parts. Sean has his TAB layout out in a straight format. Play through one time so it’s relatively easy to follow but has some challenging up the neck fingering. I am guessing Noam’s arrangement will be much more difficult. Many years ago there was a discussion on the Banjo Hangout about different arrangements and John Boulding (Lick of the week sessions) did some videos where he explains his approach but does not actually teach the lesson.

All I can offer in the way of advice is to LISTEN carefully, get the melody framework in your head. The tune is distinct and complex, memorize each part before moving to the next. In short don’t try to eat the whole cake in one sitting. knife__fork
Good luck
