I left for Basic Training in the USAF.

I left for Ft. McClellan, Alabama August 3rd, 1982… Finished in Regensburg, Gemany in '85 (loved it there)… I guess that makes me older than you Will… Thanks for yours and everyone else’s service!

I’ll never forget getting on that plane… Also, getting processed late at night… And the very short “8 hours of proper rest” (probably was only 4) before facing that 1st day of training.
