Is there snow in your area?

Here in southeast Pennsylvania, we used to get plenty of snow each winter back in the 1950s and 1960s. And it was an even bet that you would have snow on the ground at Christmas. And although those days may be gone, they are not forgotten. Here’s wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and maybe, just maybe, there will be snow. :christmas_tree:

While there likely will not be snow for Christmas in Alabama, there always remains a slight possibility, so I’ll be dreaming as well, haha :slightly_smiling_face:!
Enjoyed your rendition with all those chords & singing, and Merry Christmas back at ya!!

I live east of Lake Ontario. Last weekend we got 42" of snow. This is not uncommon in persistent lake effect bands. Since we also got intermittent snow every day since, the total for the past week is 67 inches.

My short-legged dog loves it!

We’re old friends with climate change. Just a few short months ago we suffered under a temperate climate, with temps soaring into the 90’s! And now they say in a few more months we can expect significant warming.
I don’t have a thing to wear!

It’s The Abominable Snowman snowman_g2_W

You look pretty cold @BanJoe

Seems like he is transfigured and transformed!

Surprisingly not cold. I had been snowblowing, hence the covering. Dressed in proper clothing for the environment, you can have a lot of fun in the deep winter.

Still holding out down here. Surely it’s about time again by now?

We’ve had at least five decent snows here so far, but it’s currently melted (thank God).
I hate the snow for all purposes except driving in it… :smirk: specifically since you can do donuts and drift without damaging tires. But my fingers really stop working below about 40 degrees, which is not conducive to playing music or working.
I was changing a timing belt on my car the other day in 19 degrees and snowing weather. Ugh.
@Michael_Mark I’ll trade you? I would love to have summers that actually felt hot and winters that don’t feel cold.

Might I suggest the fine country of Mozambique?
