I'm with Dolly

So a few weeks ago I had my first vaccine shot and I experienced no side effects whatsoever. Just waiting to hear when I am due to go for shot number 2.

In the meantime I see Dolly is singing and celebrating having her vaccine and I just wanted to share with y’all I’m with Dolly are you ?

Stay safe get the jab and lets put this virus to bed for good.

I got my first shot yesterday and no issues either but I really wasn’t expecting any problems. My wife gets her 2nd shot today. I will be so happy when I pass by someone and we can see each other smile.

I get my second shot in two weeks. I am looking forward to seeing people smile again.
I’m also looking forward to not seeing advertisements for masks on TV!

The Cleveland Clinic did two open heart surgeries on me, 13 years apart, so I am inclined to trust them a lot. Here’s what they say about the vaccine & the second dose -

…Yet.

I’d probably get the thread shut down if I shared my “conspiracy theory” as coined by the media…

I doubt that will stop anytime soon, given the latest statements by all the billionaires trying to run our lives.

Been taking my annual flu shots for fourteen years Michael so I am not in the least concerned.

It’s OK. They can’t run my life without my permission, so I don’t give it to them.
As for the ads, my Mute button works well and often.
As for “conspiracy theories,” they are all correct! Each & every one of them.
At least, that’s what they want you to think!

I tend to ignore the present & look to the wisdom that has stood the test of time. One such bit comes from Mark Twain: “It is easier to deceive people than it is to convince them they have been deceived.”
For example, I have deceived myself into believing I am an excellent banjo player.
Dozens have tried to point out the errors in my thinking, but I dismiss them as ignorant sheeple.

@Archie, I am NOT anti-vaccine. Get the flu shot every year; I don’t care. But this vaccine is a whole different ball game. It is an mRNA vaccine- it alters mRNA, the messenger of the cells in your body- and this vaccine has not even been tested on animals before being hurriedly brought to market. People have been perfecting influenza vaccines for years, but this COVID vaccine has not gone through sufficient testing; an mRNA vaccine has not been brought to market before. There are plenty of people who have experienced severe early side effects, including anaphylaxis, strokes, paralyzation, etc. This is NOT a normal vaccine like media, government, and pharmaceutical companies want you to believe.

They probably already are.

Are you willing to take a stand for your liberty? Don’t assume America is immune (no pun intended) to Communism.

For all who choose to get a vaccine, blessings to you all for an effective treatment with just the right amount of side effects (balancing comfort and efficacy). I do join you in looking forward to the day when folks can look at each other face to face without fear.

I hear you say Michael but there are so many things in life that can do us harm. Fear being one of them.

When I was a child Smallpox, Diphtheria, Polio, Typhoid fever, Yellow fever, Tuberculosis and Cholera were the illnesses that hit the headlines. Somewhere along the process humans had to be the first to tryout the vaccines for all these illnesses. I myself have been vaccinated for all of these except Cholera.

I had the Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. But I would have been equally happy to receive the mRNA or the Pfizer vaccine.

Exactly. But you are the one getting the vaccine because you are afraid of COVID! Your statement defeats its own purpose in a way.

This is not a normal pandemic situation. COVID is being used to control the minds and freedoms of citizens. If government shutdowns, mask mandates, vaccine mandates, etc. are truly about public health, then why, why, why are governments shutting down CHURCHES and leaving grocery stores open?

No Michael I am not afraid. You see you assume you know me more than I know myself.

If you’re not afraid, why are you getting the vaccine?

I understand you want to be considerate of your health. That’s why I feel the need to warn you.

Michael I think this conversation has reached it’s conclusion. We see things differently, I wish you well.
