If Mozart played banjo

This is Bill Knopf playing Rondo Ala Turk. Check him out on Youtube. :astonished:

That was awesome! I never really liked playing Mozart on piano, but this is something else!

Wow! It’s almost like it was written for banjo! That was great!

A Master Banjo player. I have several TAB Books by Bill Knopf he has his own unique style of backup. Really challenging stuff especially his C licks which are particularly busy. I haven’t managed to nail any of his solos but I keep revisiting them in the hope that I can get through at least one.

I love his style. A departure from the “hillbilly” music that, today, we call Bluegrass. I too, have a couple-o-books of his.
Don’t get me wrong, I love bluegrass and play it as much as anything else, but it is nice to try different stuff. If my ears like it then I do too.
