Fiddle or resophonic guitar would probably be my choice.

I’d like fiddle.
I took violin lessons for several years when I was little, but had a tough time because I had three different teachers who each thought it should be played differently. Plus, it was all violin, not any fiddle.

I came from a Bass to Guitar then to Mandolin and if he did a claw hammer maybe a Banjer too LOL
I started as a kid when I was like 9 or 10 to learn Banjo learned the Dueling Banjo then never picked it up again
