God Bless All
Hymn help
I don’t have those tabs, but good luck!
Send me a list of hymns you want to have… I have the capability to TAB them out for you. I have alot of projects right now, but I can slide something like this in. Also - ask your friend what key he plays a certain hymn in and I can put it in that key.
Hi @Sailor, @BanjoBen has an advanced arrangement of Will-the-circle-be-unbroken which is a build-a-break banjo lesson. It starts out with the basic melody and you should be able to pick that out even at the beginner level here’s the link
I’ll Fly Away is still in copyright but its fairly easy to find the notes for this on the banjo.
thanks to all
Just a note, you can find all of Ben’s lessons on hymns by selecting the “Gospel & Hymns” filter on the left

Hope it goes well, playing in church is always fun!
Hi Mr. G let’s start with a few, knowing you got a lot on your plate: I’ll flyaway, Shall we gather at the river, The Saints go marching in, and Amen. And if you have one or so you like pleas add it. As I said I am an upper Beginner to very low mid range player. to show you where I’m at Ben"s Uncloudy day I’m doing good with his level 2 (haven’t tried level 3 yet) Thanks for any help and I wish have a Blessed day.
I have the lead sheet/Tab for “I’ll Fly Away” in G. Is a lead sheet ok? I don’t have any solo lines worked up for it. But if you get the melody under your fingers you have something to work with. Plus - I transcribed it in G so you can dip into Ben’s Bag O’ Licks and play around with them…
sounds great thank you very much
looking into it solo will be something doing but lead sheets will be easier for the church to sing along with, am I right in this thinking thanks for helping I really don’t know what I’m doing lol
Can I message you privately here? Not sure… but you can also get me at ffog@me.com and I will respond with the attachment.
I’ll Fly Away is a copyrighted tune, and I don’t want to put that one out there publicly.
