How to watch instruction videos and practice at the same time

I am having a problem trying to watch instruction videos and practicing at the same time. Specifically I am trying to use the mouse to stop and start videos with finger picks on!! Does not work to well. Is there a work around to make it easier.

Great Question @macm23454 Michael I use my left hand to hit the space bar to pause the video. But I also use the mouse to navigate lessons wearing picks. It’s like learning to play banjo it’s tricky but with practice through time you’ll master it.

The only solution I can think of is play guitar😉… actually, what @Archie said about using the space bar, that’s what I thought of. But I think that only works on certain computers.

Hey I like the banjo! I mean, you can’t really have good bluegrass without banjo… I just like guitar better for myself. :grinning: Who knows, maybe I’ll pick up banjo one of these days…

Have your ever used your IPhone That’s what I use a lot when I’m watching a video lesson I can just touch the screen and stop it if I want or after I open it to play I open it too fullscreen and then I can back it up 10 seconds or more every time I touch it or touch the time bar at the bottom and slide it back some, or all the way back to the beginning, it’s easier for me using my left hand to do this I know everyone’s got their own way of doing things but this way has been easier for me.
