How to submit a video

Does BB encourage sending in videos of students as they progress so he can see how things are coming along and comment? I have used Artist Works with Noam Pickelney and that was one of the features I really thought was important. He could see how I played a practice lesson and comment on my progress and make suggestions.

Hi Frank, welcome to @BanjoBen 's Forum.

Yes @BanjoBen loves students to submit videos, However unlike ArtistWorks you can’t upload videos directly to the site. First you need to create a YouTube Channel. Upload the video to YT then copy and pasted the link to the Video Swap Area - This is an area reserved for Gold Pick Members only.

Look forward to seeing your progress.

Thanks for how to do this. I think I have a Youtube channel but the only thing I used it for was to post a video of my playing Steve Martin’s Clawhammer Medly probably 10 to 12 years ago so not sure how to even find the channel. I do have the link to that video so perhaps that is all I need. Here is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzAJ4qzYixk

Your YouTube channel is tied to a Google account- just go to youtube.com and check in the upper right if you’re signed in. If not, you can either sign in or (if you don’t have the login credentials) just start a new channel.
