How to Make my Pick hand do What I want?

So I have no trouble with my left hand (fret hand), can do virtually anything with it, but my right hand (pick hand) won’t pick down (maybe cuz I’m a lefty?) Any suggestions on things to do to improve it? Maybe some of Ben’s lessons could help?

It usually takes many hours of repetition to get that muscle memory ingrained, so my advice would be to develop proper form, start out slowly and accurately, and build on that. Lessons would be a plus for any of us.

Thanks, I knew there was something like that. Ben Explains it better than a mandolin teacher could up here.

My goal for today is now to be able to pick up and down and improvise solos while changing keys (I just looked at the other mando courses.) I have plenty of time to do it, since I’m sick in bed and not strong enough to play the banjo yet. I still have school though, one disadvantage to homeschooling.
