Where would be the best place to put a humidity pack in my banjo? Just put it in the case, or inside the mahogany resonator?

I would think inside the case. The old banjo I have that dried out dried out along the neck as well as the resonator, so I would think both parts need to be exposed to the humidly pack equally.
