Hurricane Laura broke the power pole for the lines at my home but other than the loss of power we stayed safe. We packed up our instruments so my in-laws neighborhood got to hear a little Turkey in the Straw from their front porch tonight. (Or atleast my styling of the tune)
I hope everyone stayed safe as this storms pass through. I’m glad it gone from my area.
It was supposed to hit Beaumont, but it turned last minute and didn’t hit us almost at all. I didn’t evacuate, and we had no damage to anything and the power didn’t even go out. All safe here
Glad to hear that you are safe Gunner, Lake Charles looks pretty rough. I believe it was still classified as a hurricane when it came through NE Louisiana. I still have no power but I have stayed with family in the area that does.
