On a drum head I never could tell the difference between an A and a Qb. The mystery finally cleared for me with the video on the Drum Dial. Setting the resistance to 89 pounds I can relate to. I set the head to this and the tone really sparkles.

Yeah, a drum dial is one of the best investments I’ve ever made for bringing new life to my banjos. Takes all the guesswork out.
