It sure is but you would think with all that billion dollar technology they could have included a software patch to bring it on home when it malfunctions. Love to be sitting on that board of enquiry.

If I found it, I can promise you I’d try to get in it and fire it up. Don’t know if I’d have the courage to try and take off…I’m sure I couldn’t figure it out.

Takeoff would be no problem. Landing it might be intimidating, which may be why the dude punched out 
Seriously, it may have been covered in the news somewhere, but I have no idea why (other than fire or other cabin environment issues) someone would punch out of a plane that was just flying just fine. I originally read that they were over a populated area, so he turned on the autopilot before ejecting. But it kept flying for quite some time.
On my previous comment on modern stealth technology being impressive… did the joke get missed or was it just not as funny as I thought?
