I’m glad someone got a video of this!! I really wanted to see the winning videos when I saw it on Bluegrass Today. Can’t wait to watch it.
I was on the Doucettes’ website and it says Holten has studied with Jake. Guess that’s his secret!

Watching this now. It’s great!!! Justus Ross’s arrangements are packed with Jake’s licks. I know because Jake has taught me some of those same ones. I wonder if he studies with him or just copies him on YouTube.
