Flying Pinky

Any suggestions for a fret hand pinky that has recently decided to attempt to leave the pack and fly skyward
while the other fingers remain close to the strings during fretting ???

Which hand are we talking about Fret Hand or Picking Hand?

Maybe try playing some licks using your pinky as a substitute to teach it to stay home. I do see this happen pretty often. Not a big deal unless you’re not able to fret the pinky when you need to and it’s causing issues.

Thanks so much, especially for the “Not a Problem” phrase.
Will practice the pinky subbing recommendation or possibly
crazy glue it to my ring finger until it learns to behave.
