Matter of perspective? I’m assuming when you say thin pick your talking about the Fender thins. At least for me after transitioning to a Dunlop 1.4 a .73 feels thin to me. Even though I can still “bend” a .73 it’s actuality more of a snap I wouldn’t consider it flexible compared to a Fender. To me thin can mean more than just something stamped on a pick…

As you get better your hand will loosen up, and you’ll probably start to prefer a thicker pick.
The thinner bluechip picks tend to be pretty stiff.
