First Flight as Fam of Five!

We flew to Kentucky Lake this morning for pancakes and bacon! Little Crockett did great on his first flight!

Love Crocket’s cap and goggles

Reminds me of those $50 dollar hamburgers I used to get when I would go flying with my uncle in his Bonanza. :yum:

Actually, I’m surprised Crockett did so well. Infants can often have a hard time equalizing their ears unless they cry a lot! Of course, the goggles help.

I was just wondering how he’s changed since we last saw him. Cute pictures!!

Yaaaaaaaaaay!!!

That is phenomenal! Did you all eat at the lodge? My grandparents lived just down the road near Possum Trot. I still think of (and miss) Starne’s BBQ.

Crocket is still a bit small for a Whataburger @Mike_R . He is still on a liquid diet.

Thanks! Actually we ate at the Southernaire Hotel & Restaurant, just a quarter mile hike from M93.

Excellent, I have never been over there. An eating place that was very popular to fly into 30 years ago was Rough River (2I3). It used to be pretty awesome and it looks like it would be an enjoyable distance for you all coming from the Nashville area. Carolyn used to fly there pretty regularly with her parents.

Nice looking Cessna 172 you’re driving there! I was a private pilot once….I recently retired as a Captain for Delta Connection, flying a regional jet. Never thought I’d end up with THAT job. Looks like the family had a great time. Fly Safe!

I’d fly anywhere for some pancakes and bacon! As a crew of 5, you guys and gals look better than ever! Thank you for sharing. I can’t get over Little Crockett’s flight goggles.
