Fiddle - Old Cluck Hen

Here is a link to snazzy version of Old Cluck Hen on fiddle by Hilary Klug I saw a couple of months ago. She is also a buck dancer and she does that in this recording. That low register at 1:46 will catch your ear (it may be cello on that, but I am not sure).

If I hear what you are talking about, I’d guess that is a 5 string fiddle which adds a low C string.
