Fake Strings

Apparently “fake” or “knock-off” strings are rampant these days. Anyone experience this?

Never heard of it.

I hadn’t either until now. I wonder if Ben has…?

I haven’t! Strings are relatively affordable, seems like a lot of work to make a little dishonestly.

Crazy! Well looks like it’s mainly Ernie Ball, at least in those vid examples?

Until they counterfeit another package. Certainly something to keep an eye on.

I think fake strings are what I use when I play air guitar

I haven’t’ heard of them but if there is a product then there is someone trying to make a “knock-off” cheaper quality version.

I buy direct from manufacturers so no worries on my stuff, of course.

I love Elixir’s, but I have to say this last set is not all that great.
