I am selling my “The Mixson” mandolin. It was made by a guitar builder in TN.

Neck Material: Soild Flamed Maple
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Nut Material: Bone
Nut Width: 1-1/18”
Body Top: Solid Spruce
Body Back/Sides: Carved Solid Flame Maple
Binding: Body, Neck
Inlay Material: Pearl
Tailpiece: Golden Age Mandolin Tailpiece
Bridge: Fitted Adjustable Ebony
Tuners: Golden Age F Style Tuners
Finish Color: Sunburst
Finish: Nitro Lacquer
Case: Gator Hardshell

I really love this mandolin, but I am selling it to fund another one. It’s got great chop, and sound. Beautiful fretboard inlay. Low action.
Currently strung with GHS strings, I put them on the 15th of this month.

$1250 shipped in the lower 48.
I can get more pictures, and sound clips, it’s a really great price for a US made mandolin.

That is a nice looking instrument.

Thanks, it plays nice too.

If you would… Tell us more about the instrument you are wanting to acquire.

I am interested to know what you have in mind. Will you return to the same Mandolin Craftsman/Luthier? What will be the details (if you have them worked out yet)?

I would like to get a higher end Kentucky, Eastman, or I’ll spend the money and get a Northfield. I really like Weber too. This mandolin is the only one the builder made, I don’t know why, he did a pretty good job for #1. Really the only reason I’m selling it, is because I like wider nuts.
What do you have in mind?
