Drum dial tip doesn't retract

Hi, the drum dial tip doesn’t retract so the body of the dial doesn’t sit flat on the head of the drum. I don’t want to force anything but is there a screw or something to loosen to make it work?

Thanks, I watched it but that doesn’t help. My issue isn’t how to use it, it’s that the tip that sticks out doesn’t retract. The body of the dial (the bottom part) won’t sit flush when I try to set it on there.

Sounds as though it’s damaged/bent. Is it still under warranty?

My drum dial must still be packed away from our move. I couldn’t find it where I thought it should be.

Anyway, I seem to remember 1 or more screws on the top of the dial. I think one of those was a locking screw. Have you tried to loosen it to see if it freed up the plunger?

I played with mine to try to get it to lock. No luck. The instructions didn’t have anything about locking. I think you are down to calling the store. They’ll get you fixed up!
