Thank you so much. This was really helpful to me and I think the song is coming along well. I really like the arrangement.
Thank you!
Discuss the Mandolin lesson: What a Friend We Have in Jesus
Hello, I’m a school teacher for a small private Christian school. A couple times a year our student compete in Regional competitions and we have a group of them that play banjo, guitar, mandolin and Fiddle by ear. This is a problem when they go to competition because the judges only want standard notation. However your site has been a blessing cause they can learn to play by ear or video and a lot of times I can open up the TEF file in Musescore and show the standard notation to submit to the judges. Well I’ve tried downloading the TEF to What a Friend we have in Jesus for the Mandolin and if keeps saying it is corrupt. Is there any way I can get a non corrupt file? I really only need the standard notation as taught in this lesson to submit to the judges. The student cannot read tab, but the judges need the music. Is there any whay you can help me with this?
