Let’s pick! The point of the Pickalong lessons is not to teach you a tabbed solo or backup, but to get you actually playing along by using your eyes and ears! Don’t forget that you can slow down the video!

I’m loving these pick-a-long tracks! They are wonderful to practice my technique and timing while running solo. Then later while I am jamming with others, it sounds like I know what I am doing.

I agree! These are pure genius and life savers; I don’t have to die of fright trying something in front of live people. :joy:

I just logged to my account after a very long time. The lessons are different now than when I started. Instead of the scrolling tab, I now see the chord names scroll by. Then I see numbers. What do the number mean?

@tonyavitua, Nashville number system? (For example, in the key of G, G is the 1 chord, C is the 4 chord, D is the 5 chord, etc.)

Welcome back! These Pickalong lessons are a series all to themselves. I still release lessons with the tab. The numbers are the chord numbers, and you should watch this course here: https://banjobenclark.com/lessons/the-nashville-number-system-beginner
