A combination of syncopation, chord melody, and tremolo make this arrangement both beautiful and practical to learn. Enjoy this classic hymn!

Ben, I’ve been waiting for the mandolin treatment of this song for two weeks… and you did not disappoint! I’m not great reading TAB… so thanks for your emphasis on using our eyes, ears, and heart to capture what’s going on here. This is a beautiful arrangement! Until I really dig into your triplets, etc., I’ll probably cover with a lot of tremolo, but this is one I really want embrace. Thanks again for sharing your heart in this way. I appreciate you, my friend!!
Beautifully done! Can’t wait to learn it! God bless you
Great Job Brother. Can’t wait to dive into this one.
Hi, I’m probably missing something but are the lyrics for this beautiful hymn provided in the material somewhere?
Yes! So happy you picked this one. Pun intended.
I didn’t include the lyrics, sorry! You can find them here: https://www.hymnal.net/en/hymn/h/341
This is a beautiful arrangement. Would you please consider posting the mandolin solo without the guitar accompaniment? The accompaniment is a little too loud for me while quietly practicing this hymn.
Let me see if I can get that done for you, thanks for your patience!
