I don’t typically use either one of those in this song.
For E minor I’m usually using 422x and B7 I’ll use the full B chord of 4467 or maybe 212x

I will give those a try. Thanks!
422x to 212x and back seems pretty straightforward. I feel like I might be better off trying to get 422x to 4467 and back down, though. I haven’t gotten proficient at any chop chord changes that completely change the shape like that. In addition, that particular chop chord shape (4467) is one that I have neglected, and need to work on. It seems like a good opportunity to build some muscle memory.
Is 422x the fingering you would suggest for the e minor in the B part of Big Sciota, too? I’ve been chopping that one with 957x. It seems like less of a large leap from the C to the 422x. I‘ll have to review the Big Sciota pick along.
Yeah, it’s just an easier position to get to and sounds great!
I thought I was going to have to dedicate a few weeks of practice to get these new chop chord transitions down, but it’s coming right along. I think I’ll be chopping along with the 210bpm track before the week is out. Thanks!
