Thanks. I will take a look at these.
Has anyone used software like Strum Machine?
I’ve not used it a whole lot, but a friend of mine has and he really likes it.
Hi @terry.adcock1158 I trailed it but I found it didn’t work for me. I wanted it to play melody so I could practice banjo backup. I much prefer TablEdit / TEFView that way I can play along with @BanjoBen 's TABs.
Because of health reason’s I too can no longer get out to jam sessions.
Yes, I’ve been enjoying it recently.
I hadn’t thought about playing along with the tef files. That is a good idea.
Hi @terry.adcock1158 Terry if you have no plans to write or edit TAB TEF files then use the TEFView app it’s FREE
I love strum machine! I use it almost every time I practice. It’s so much more fun to play along with than a metronome.
The greatest moments I’ve enjoyed during a jam have been coming out from unfamiliar territory knowing that I nailed it! I’ve disappointed myself enough too (and as Ben states, “no one really cares”) but when I succeed, it’s the best feeling!
I love it and use it almost every practice session.
