What is it that sticks out to you when you watch Kenny play?
He makes it look easy. His fretting fingers move so fast, but he clusters lots of notes into each location on the fretboard before moving to another position on the neck. It also appears he has such a light touch, like his fingers are dancing on their tippy-toes!
It stands out because (in my best Austin Powers) “It’s GROOVY Baby, Yeah!” Smooth as silk with a touch of attitude… love it.
The way his left hand works really stands out to me no wasted movement stays really tight to FB…. And that TONE!!
and his right hand, too! No wrist on the bridge, not entirely free either, just his fingers slightly touching the guitar top for orientation and reference. Excellent!
can follow it but too fast, need some slow down on this melody this old beat up acoustic hard to play along with
