Discuss the Guitar lesson: Triplet Rhythm Fills

It’s time to wake Grandpa from his nap, and no better way to wake up than to triplets! Triplet fills are an excellent way to spice up slower country rhythm!

Ben,
I’m not a faster strummer just yet, but I see where this triplet can give the appearance of a little more speed in the slower type songs I enjoy playing. I look forward to learning. I’ve already BookMarked it.
Thanks for the post.

Primarily on here learning some basic Mandolin playing but had to “sneak a peek.” Great lesson. Now that in a small band, can use these fills and may even include in some solo playing/singing at rest home with Guitar. Thanks.

Ha… I just re-visited because of the new post and listened to the intro. G lick with 3 triplets back to back. It brought me a needed smile!
