Discuss the Guitar lesson: My Savior's Love

Man, I love this hymn! I wrote this arrangement with the flatpicker who’s just starting to play solos in mind, and this is a great example of how we can use crosspicking and chord shapes to play melodies conveniently. We’ll go up the neck for the second verse, but don’t think that means it’s difficult—you’ll be slinging the high notes in no time!

Tasty!
I didn’t recognize the title. I had always referred to it as “I stand amazed in the presence.” I like your chosen title better!

Growing up Nazarene, this was our anthem. Sung more robustly than the rest of 'em.

Is this similar to what you have in your recent publication of hymn arrangements?

Thanks! Yes, some are similar. There are also some fingerstyle arrangements. You can hear all those arrangements here on the site by visiting the hymns lessons and listening to the lesson preview.
