I skipped ahead to the chords and am regretting it. I was doing all the things you told me not to. Also sorry to ask the dumb question but I am playing on my dad’s old electric guitar, which has been different than when I played on my friends acoustic. Will this course still translate?

It will translate mostly, but you will not develop strength as quickly and it’ll always be a transition to play an acoustic.
